Ceremonies of Remembrance

Ultimately, we are all collections of stories. We are all a “Once upon a time.” A memorial celebration should gather loved ones to share those tales, the memories, and the magic.

All the elements that were part of someone’s life can also be part of a ceremony of remembrance. Favorite music or poems. Photographs and recordings. Religious or secular traditions.

Guests will experience a personalized ceremony and nod their heads recognizing the spirit of the deceased within its sacred space and time.

“I’m a grief counselor and consulted with Lisa. I was seeking a ritual for a client who was having trouble letting go of two close family members who had died within the past year. This client had a lot of memories of them at the Jersey shore during summers as she was growing up. Lisa asked me questions about the client, and she developed a beautiful sea-grieving ritual for us, including carefully chosen quotes and poetry. It was very helpful to me and my client.”
