Lisa DiCerto

I am weaving this tapestry I call Celebrationism from the varied threads of my life. Those threads are spun from my time as a traditional storyteller, writer and editor, theater director, and camp designer. I also draw on the work I feel has been my most sacred - with hospice patients.

Celebrationism is informed by the four concepts that have always brought me deep contentment.

The People I Love.

Meaningful Work.

Bringing Healing to the World.

Personal Sources of Joy.

All this I keep in the forefront of my mind when creating a ceremony or working with a client.

Born and raised in New York City, I currently live in South Jersey. I have also called the areas around Atlanta and Philadelphia home.

I am a graduate of The Celebrant Foundation & Institute, Montclair, NJ. I am a licensed civil celebrant for the state of New Jersey. I have been ordained enabling me to do weddings all across the United States. I studied ancient cultures and art history at Barnard College in NYC.
